How to connect laptop to CRT TV using VGA cable and S-VIDEO cable

*This method can be used if you want to play movie on your big screen CRT TV or you can also use CRT TV screen as your backup screen if your laptop screen have problem or damaged*

1. Check at the back panel of your CRT TV. Not all TV has the same back panel.

2. Then, check the type of plug connection on your laptop.

3. You need to have:

VGA Cable

RCA Cable

S-VIDEO cable

Converter Box

4. Connect all the cable.

*If you don’t have the RCA cable, you can also plug a speaker directly through the headphone jack on your laptop*

5. Setup your laptop to be able to use your TV display.

Right click on your laptop screen, and then choose screen resolution (windows 7)

Adjust your resolution to the highest.
